Transitioning from summer to fall can be downright challenging. There’s the closet reorganization, the flood of magazine looks, the stores with overcrowded shelves…where to start? Not only does the weather vacillate but also interior thermostats seem governed by aliens.
Here are some transitional outfits to spark your creativity and spur your motivation.
Being a pen addict is in my DNA. After church every week, Dad would stop off at the convenience store for ice cream and PaperMate’s Flair markers. Mom, my three siblings and I would wait in the car shivering in the Erie, Pennsylvania winters, anticipating the new colors he would choose. My favorites were hot pink, purple and green.
I still love Flairs yet somehow continue to raid the aisles of stores and online for the next pen that will make my writing experience that much more enjoyable. Here are some of my favorites, not because of their outward appearance but how they feel.
STAEDTLER TRIPLUS FINELINERS.
These have triangular barrels! So much fun and they improve my writing.

So I flipped through 441 pages of Vogue’s September issue and spotted these top fashion and beauty looks. Didn’t set out to find only high-end luxury looks, but those are what seem to have made the cut. In terms of color, you’ll note that red and shades of navy blue are prominent. Handbags are structured. And jewelry is gold tone. Which looks were your faves?

Recently I sold my A4 burgundy Franklin planner. It definitely suited me in the corporate world but now I work from home and can’t wait to buy a planner that’s a bit more fun. Here are some of the organizers that have caught my eye. If you want to recommend your favorite, do so in the Comment section.
